And my kids were like, “You better sign that autograph. You better go back out there and sign that autograph for them. They’re Those are your fans.” I have so many things from the ’90s that my parents for some reason have kept in their attic, whether it’s like magazines, VHSs, CDs, all of those things, and even Beanie Babies.
Do you guys have anything from your shows, any like cool souvenirs or relics? I’m literally looking right now. You can’t see, but a huge wall of like all of my memorabilia, games, dolls that were made for Sabrina and Clarissa, all my Shirley Temple I started a Shirley Temple collection when I was little.
I used to teach dance, and with the money I would I would send it to the Danbury Mint and get my porcelain doll of Shirley Temple, and I pay it in installments of like $33 a month, and I still have a massive collection of the dolls. My boys get freaked out by They’re like, “Oh, the dolls.” And I’m like, “I don’t care.
I have to have them somewhere.” I would curious to know what your guys’ children think of the shows that made you famous, and and you know, just what it’s like when a millennial runs up to y’all and like screams their head off. My kids have never seen my shows, really. I showed them the Sabrina cuz it was about addiction, and I thought it was a good one when they were little. So, they’ve seen that one.
But what’s funny about Melissa and Joey, I was having our little co-star on my podcast this a few years ago. So, I was watching the first episode again just to remind myself of where it came from, and I was watching it in the living room, and it went into the second episode and then the third episode, and I realized I was still watching it, and my son was watching it, and then my other son walks in and goes, “You’re watching Mom’s show?” And he was like, “Shut up, it’s funny.
like such a great moment, but um but they don’t really Yeah, they they kind of get it They used to get annoyed with things. It’s so funny because someone ran into me at a in an airport the other day and it would like caught me off guard. I kind of got a little like, “Um maybe later.
And my kids were like “You better sign that autograph. You better go back out there and sign that autograph for them. They’re Those are your fans.” And I was like, “Oh, yeah, you’re right. Okay.” Wait, I can’t believe my kids cuz normally my kids are like, “Can we get out of here? What are we doing?” Like, it was such a nice moment for them to be like they witnessed it and they wanted it for they were like if you took me to see Jamar Gibbs you’d be so pissed if he didn’t sign my autograph and I’m like you’re right you’re right you’re right like it.
